Two Named To Economic Development ‘Action Team’ In Philly

PHILADELPHIA PA – Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett’s “Action Team,” which works with economic development groups to promote business growth, retention and expansion in Montgomery, Chester, Philadelphia, Delaware and Bucks counties, has filled two vacancies in its southeastern regional office, the state Department of Community and Economic Development announced Wednesday (Dec. 5, 2012).

Norman P. Hetrick Jr. will serve as its director; Thomas Rossomando, as its development specialist.

Hetrick previously served more than 10 years as senior project manager for a Harrisburg area commercial real estate development firm. He also worked for four years as a business attraction specialist for the mayor’s Business Action Team in Philadelphia, where he was responsible for business recruitment efforts for the city.

Rossomando most recently worked as the department’s budget director, and instituted programs and procedures that improved efficiencies and a greater return on investment. Before joining the department, Rossomando worked for nearly 20 years as a senior trader for several securities firms.
