TRENTON NJ – Members of the New Jersey State Real Estate Commission are scheduled to meet five more times before the end of the calendar year.
The commission website announced its meetings were set for Oct. 21, Nov. 6 and 18, and Dec. 2 and 16, all starting at 9:30 a.m. in second-floor Conference Room 220 of the Mary Roebling Building, 20 W. State St., Trenton NJ.
The commission consists of five members who have been licensed as New Jersey real estate brokers for at least 10 years, two public members, and one representative of an appropriate governmental department.
The commission meets approximately 36 times each year, and frequently renders decisions on contested license applications and disciplinary actions. It also establishes rules to interpret and implement provisions of the state license law, and set standards of practice for the real estate brokerage profession.
